 Global Titans Leadership Program
2018-2019 Global Titans Leadership Program (GTLP) 
This CSUF program provides students that participated in the 2018 Global Titan First Year Experience an opportunity to serve as leaders and peer mentors in the development and outreach activities for the 2019 program. Commitment during the 2018-2019 academic year is required.  

GTLP participants will engage in study abroad program development and outreach activities.  Specifically, students selected to participate in the 2018-2019 program will be members of an interdisciplinary team who:
  • Are enrolled at California State University, Fullerton in 2018-2019 
  • Attend team meetings 2-3 times a month during the spring 2018, summer 2018, and fall 2018 semester
  • Commit a minimum of 5 hours per week to program development and study abroad advocacy activities from April-December 2018
  • Conduct program promotion presentations and attend recruitment events during summer 2018 and fall 2018
  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of 2019 Global Titans First Year Experience events  
  • Based on level of commitment, GTLP participants may be considered to serve as peer mentors in one of the the three 2019 Global Titans First Year Experience locations abroad

  • Gain research experience to effectively provide international programs and global engagement new and fresh ideas

Applicants will be contacted by an IPGE member to also schedule an in-person interview.  


Students selected to participate will include:
  • First year students that participated int the 2018 Global Titans First Year Experience Study Abroad Program who have leadership potential, demonstrate teamwork skills, have the ability to inspire and engage peers, and be flexible, adaptable, and reliable.
Academic Credit
This is a non-credit program, however, opportunities for earning academic credit in association with program experiences will be discussed after participant selection.
