COVID-19 has disrupted travel all across the globe, but it doesn't have to disrupt your education or goals.  For students looking to complete internship credit this summer, several virtual international internship programs are being offered.

Why do a virtual international internship? According to Forbes, "Even if you can’t show up in person, you can still show up—ready to learn, work and grow as a professional. With many predicting that the future of work after the pandemic will be remote, a virtual internship can be a bootcamp for the skills you’ll need—communicating effectively, operating as part of a team, meeting deadlines, asking for help, and more—for the rest of your career." 

To participate in a a virtual international summer internship, you will need to complete the Independent Program Application (Virtual Summer). For more information, please meet with a CSUF study abroad advisor. 

CSUF Study Abroad Advising
Students interested in studying abroad are highly encouraged to start the process by contacting one of our study abroad advisors. CSUF study abroad advisors meet with students by major. To meet with your advisor, schedule a virtual 30-minute appointment. Once you book an appointment, your advisor will be notified and will send you a link to join the virtual meeting.
