CIEE Open Campus Grants
Five CSU Fullerton Students who meet the following guidelines will receive grants for Spring 2019:

• Students must apply to attend 3 program blocks, but can opt to attend 1-3 blocks, upon acceptance.
  • Students who attend one Global Institute location receive a $4,000 grant.
  • Students who attend two or three Global Institute locations receive a $6,000 grant.
• Students may also apply the MSI Grant of $2,000, and a GAIN Grant; however the awards will cap out at $8500, based on student need and eligibility.
• Students must apply through CSUF and also be nominated by the CSUF Study Abroad Office to be eligible.

 
Latin America Global Scholars
Three CSU Fullerton Students who meet the following guidelines will each receive $8,000 grants for Spring 2019:

• Enroll in our open campus program for three blocks, with at least two of the three blocks in Latin America – locations include Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, and Santiago, Chile.
• Students may stay in a single Latin American location for all three blocks.
• Students may still apply for the GAIN grant; however the maximum award amount is $8500.
• Students must apply through CSUF and also be nominated by the CSUF Study Abroad Office to be eligible.

Nelson Mandela Global Scholars
Two CSU Fullerton Students who meet the following guidelines will each receive $8,000 grants for Spring 2019:

• Enroll in our open campus program for three blocks, with at least one of the blocks in Cape Town.
• For the additional block locations, the student may choose from any of our other nine open campus locations.
• Student must open their application by October 1 to be eligible.
• Students may still apply for the GAIN grant; however the maximum award amount is $8500.
• Students must apply through CSUF and also be nominated by the CSUF Study Abroad Office to be eligible.

Additional CIEE Scholarships and Grants:
 
MINORITY SERVING INSTITUTION (MSI) GRANT
All students will receive a $2000 Grant for Semester Programs, and a $500 Grant for Summer Programs.
*Some award limits apply (as in combination with Global Scholars Grants)
 
GLOBAL ACCESS INITIATIVE (GAIN) GRANT
All Pell-eligible students are guaranteed a GAIN grant to cover costs for airfare ($750 - $2,000 total)
*This award will always apply before any other grant.
 
GILMAN GO GLOBAL GRANT
Pell-eligible students must apply for the Benjamin Gilman Scholarship
Then, they can apply for a Gilman Go Global Grant through CIEE.org/study
CIEE will award grants of $2500 for Semester Programs and $1000 towards Summer Programs
