Announcement: Study Abroad Returnee Workshops

Whether just returning or have been back for a while from abroad, join us for a series of workshops for the opportunity to continue to learn from your time abroad.
Welcome back! Whether you are just returning or have been back a while already from your time abroad, we would like to invite you to a series of workshops that will give you the opportunity to continue to learn from your time abroad. These workshops have been designed especially for study abroad returnees across several key areas:
 
October 4, 2017, 4:00- 5:00 p.m.  Professional Development

According to the National Association of Colleges and Employees (NACE), many of the skills students develop while abroad are also attributes highly desired by employers.  Learn how to highlight your study abroad experiences to set yourself apart in an interview or on your resume.
 
October 18, 2017, 4:00- 5:00 p.m.  Post-Grad Opportunities Abroad

Interested in going abroad again? Discover the many different postgraduate opportunities abroad: Serve in the U.S. Peace Corps, teach English abroad in the JET program, attend graduate school abroad…, and much more!

CSUF Study Abroad Director, Jack Hobson will explain the Fulbright teaching and research fellowship options and what it takes to become a Fulbright Fellow after you graduate.  This workshop will give you information about applying for the next application cycle.
